They have TONS of stores, and its not THAT expensive. I just got back 2 days ago... I brought waterproof cameras, and lots of sun dresses with flip flops- all i wore! Even snorkel and fins are pretty cheap to rent, about $9, so you dont need those either... Edit- OH YEA almost forgot, water shoes! That will cut down on your food and grocery bill but also experience some luaus as they will have a buffet style dinner along with entertainment. Purchase sunblock in Hawaii or if you purchase it here the mainland, put it in your checked luggage as the airlines don't allow that type of item as a part of your walk on luggage. Really all you need is shorts, shirts, maybe a sundress or two, and your swim suit. I took like 5 pairs of shoes, all different kinds of clothes for me and my husband to wear and I didn't need half of it. Also, leave some extra space in your suitcase to bring souvenirs back home.
