I’m 21 and my girlfriend is 19. We’re planning on going on vacation together, just the two of us, to Hawaii. We want to get a hotel room for about a week to a week and a half, is it legal for us to get a room?

Yes, you’re both over 18.

Your biggest problem might be with some rental cars where they require you be over 21 (so at worst you would have to be the one to rent the car).

Your next biggest problem is simply paying for the room. Some hotels may also require a credit card on account to cover any damage, room service, etc., so you might have an issue if only paying in cash — something like that.

The Dolphin Bay Hotel in Hilo, Hawaii has its very own cats that will visit you at night! This one was named Rubble. If you listen closely, you can hear lots of frog noises in the background.
