I will go to Hawaii in Sep. and I’ll stay in wyland waikiki hotel…
does it have complimentary airport pick-up service??
or should I take the shuttle bus ?
Go to their website or call the hotel to find out. You can find out about options from the airport at the airport’s website – click on "ground transportation" for your options.

Moderately priced hotel, recently fully remodeled just across the street from Waikiki Beach. Excellent location and rates. One of our favorites. http://Travel-Hawaii.com

Anyone have any idea of a salary range that a assistant GM working at a Hilton in Hawaii would be likely to receive. There are six assistant GM’s at this particular property.
Why do u need that, are you applying for that post?!!!!!!
First I was astonished by the post saying General Asst manager, but the details reads it correct lol
I heard food is very expensive in Hawaii. Were going Monday thru Friday in March of 2007 for our honeymoon but people keep telling me it is expensive to even eat over there….Please Help…
We have gone to Hawaii on three trips, none of them with a kitchenette. Depending on what you are planning to do, it really is not that important to have one. If you are out, you can usually find a nice place for an affordable price. This is true for any of the islands which we went to (Oahu, Kauaii, Maui, and the Big Island).
Also, you could look into inclusive packages for your hotel/motel, which would allow you to eat at their resturaunts. This option works better out of Honolulu/Waikiki, but you should be able to look into it there also. If you are in the Waikiki area, there are numerous places, both fast food and casual dining.

ok, so i am in girlscouts and we were deciding on where to take a trip to for next suumer. so i need to turn in some info about hawaii with all the perks (food, transportation, sites, hotel, travel). about 15 people will be attending the trip. i also wanted to know which island is best to travel to and why, or if we can island hop + how much would it cost.
If you’re looking for a site that will give you prices about hotels and travel, I suggest you check out travelocity or sidestep. Both of those sites will be able to give you package deal type information. You can also check out http://www.gohawaii.com/ for more detailed information about Hawaii.
What you’ll spend on food depends on what type of hotel you’re staying in (hotel, condo, timeshare, etc). Obviously if you plan to eat every meal out, you’ll be spending the most money while being able to cook for yourself in a small kitchen will cut that cost down significantly.
I would suggest that you come over to Oahu as this is where the majority of the touristy types of attractions are and also where there are many different types of activites that you all might be interested in.
Island hopping is a possibility, however with the closure of one of the major inter-island airlines and the rising fuel costs, inter-island travel has become VERY pricey. Except to pay at least $90/person for a one-way ticket to any of the outer islands.
Hope that helps……good luck and happy traveling!
My wife and I are taking a trip to Hawaii in February. Weve never been and want a very nice private hotel to stay at. Money is no option really. Any suggestions?
Depends on the island.
On Oahu, though lovely, the Hilton Hawaiian Village (someone else mentioned it) is extremely touristy and busy. It’s not at all private. If you want something truly private on Oahu you would most likely need to go to the North Shore. Turtle Bay, maybe? In Waikiki, I recommend the Royal Hawaiian. It’s absolutely beautiful and it’s on a great stretch of Waikiki Beach.
Maui – Grand Wailea or Ritz Carlton Kapalua
Kauai – Hyatt Regency
Big Island – Four Seasons Hualalai, The Orchid at Mauna Lani, Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and Bungalows, or Kona Village Resort. KVR offers private hales (hah-lay, which means ‘house’), no TVs, total tranquility. It’s pricey but very exclusive and quite beautiful.
